Ever since he picked up a fiddle at the age of three years old, Kyle Ledson has immersed himself in music, taking influences of the bluegrass world & The Grateful Dead to create his own original acoustic music for a more modern “Jamgrass” scene.

Kyle’s first album release, “Crooked Mandolin,” saw him collaborating with childhood heroes like Hot Buttered Rum, the T Sisters, and the incredibly talented, flat picker of the year, Molly Tuttle when Kyle was just a 14 year old 8th grader. After experiencing life in the recording studio and all the inspiration that came with that, Kyle has been writing, playing, & growing with a fiery momentum. The culmination of such, Kyle released his sophomore album, “Left It All Behind” in 2021, which features some amazing special guests including Ben Kaufmann, the legendary bassist of Yonder Mountain String Band, Dan Lebowitz, Ezra Lipp, & Steve Adams from the amazing band ALO, and others.

Kyle’s solo live experience features fast picking guitar with hard driving bluegrass, original music, thought-provoking lyrics, and unique cover tunes. In 2021-2022, Kyle Ledson & Friends projects took on the life of their own with two new bands- An acoustic jamgrass band, Broken Compass Bluegrass based in Grass Valley and an electric psychedelic rock jamband called Cosmic Frog out of Chico, CA.
